Hey everyone to the Art and Creativity page……..

Art is described as “the expression of a creative skill in a visual form.”This visual form can be a drawing,painting or even a sculpture.Art is one of the best hobbies that a person can take up.It helps express your feelings.If you are extremely happy or deeply depressed and don’t know how to express your feelings….all you have to do is pick some paper and paint(or colour etc.)and start drawing.Once you have finished you will see your feelings on the paper.These feelings are expressed by your drawing,sense of colour and the hidden meaning behind your art.

Here is a picture of my first canvas painting which I did between the 5^th of March and the 16^th of March.It is done using acrylic colours.I have used a canvas,acrylic colours,turpentine oil,varnish and brushes.I have tried to show a peacaeful forest with no worries and tensions of life….where life is only the beauty of nature.

PAINTING

To paint you need a lot of creativity and imagination. There are many types of paints: water colours, oil paints and fabric paints (to paint T-shirts). There are also many kinds of paintings you can do – stained glass painting, oil painting, water colour painting etc.

The painting I have done here is an oil painting on canvas. To paint with oil on canvas you need: a stretched canvas, oil paints, turpentine for the first coat of paint, linseed oil for the second coat of paint, and oil paint brushes.

This is a Flower painting.

Painting is a lot of fun. I want to be an artist when I grow up, and create different kinds of paintings.
