1.At any given time an alligator has 80 teeth.If old teeth decay new teeth replace the old ones. An alligator can go through
upto 2000-3000 teeth in one lifetime. But by the age of 50 they can not make new teeth and so die of starvation
2.According to the National Wildlife Federation there were nearly 2 million chimpanzees at the beggining of the twentieth
century. In the year 2000 the number decreased by approximately 180000.
3. Gorillas do not drink water. That is probably the reason why gorillas do not swim.
4.The record weight for an adult male polar bear is more than 2200 pounds. A polar bear can hold more than 150 pounds
of food in their stomach.
5.Bisons are the largest land mammals in North America. They are the only animals who do not contract cancer.
6.Hens can produce eggs without a mate. But only eggs made with mates can yield chicks
7.Flamingos can drink almost boiling water.
